大都市区是美国城市化高度发展的空间形态,也具有重要的国际先示意义。本文从城市化进程的角度简要介绍了美国大都市区的生成与发展、界定标准,并阐述了目前美国大都市区普遍采用的几种代表性管理模式。
Abstract：Metropolitan district is the spatial pattern of high-degree development of American urbanization, which also has important pre-exemplary meaningin the world. This paper, from the angle of urbanization process, briefly introduces the formation, development and defined standards of Americanmetropolitan district, and expounds the representative managing patterns commonly adopted in American metropolitan districts.
